Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Brad Binder is hoping to sign off the
2023 MotoGP season with a fifth podium finish at the Valencian Community Grand Prix on Sunday, November 26.
The South African is guaranteed fourth place in the riders' standings after his P5 in the Qatar Grand Prix extended the gap to Prima Pramac Racing's Johann Zarco to 64 points.
Binder has yet to win a race in 2023, although he pushed championship leader Francesco Bagnaia all the way in the Spanish Grand Prix and the Austrian Grand Prix before settling for P2 on both occasions.

The 28-year-old also finished on the podium in the British Grand Prix and the Thailand Grand Prix, but four retirements ended any thoughts of catching Mooney VR46 Racing Team's Marco Bezzecchi in third place.
Binder started 10th on the grid in Lusail and was happy to cross the start-finish line 2.838 seconds outside the podium places given the problems he experienced with his front tyre.
"Today was actually really good. To walk away with a fifth and to fight for the podium was very positive," Binder told the KTM website after the race.
"My rear tyre was perfect but my front tyre gave up after about 12 laps in, from there I was just trying to survive. Probably one of the hardest races I had in terms of dealing with the limit. I just wanted to bring it home in a solid fifth."
