Oscar Piastri will be keen to make it back-to-back wins in the 2025 Formula One World Championship season by winning the
Japanese Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver was at his best at the Chinese Grand Prix on 23 March, the second race in the 2025 Formula One World Championship campaign.
Piastri started on the first grid and he never looked back as he went on to win the Japanese Grand Prix, and also finished third in the sprint event.
Formula One title ambitions
The Australian racing driver is now placed fourth in the World Drivers' Championship standings, having accumulated 34 points.
Piastri is 10 points behind leader Lando Norris of McLaren and two points behind second-placed Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing.
Why Piastri could win the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix
The 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup winner with R-ace GP is oozing with confidence after winning the second race of the season in China.
Piastri, who has won three Formula One Grands Prix across three seasons, will be eager to maintain his momentum by winning the Japanese Grand Prix.
What did he say?
“It's been an incredible weekend, and the car has been mega the whole time," Piastri said after winning the 2025 Chinese Grand Prix.
"The tyres behaved very differently to the earlier sessions in China but the race we’ve managed to pull-off this afternoon has been excellent. The support from the grandstands and all the papaya fans has been terrific.
"And we can be proud of the 1-2 result we’ve secured through hard work. I’m looking forward to some time back at the factory in preparation for the upcoming triple-header.”
