Scottie Scheffler will be looking to finally win the
Texas Children's Houston Open title which has eluded him over the years.
What to know about Scheffler
The American star turned professional in 2018 and prior to that, he was part of the USA team that won the 2017 Walker Cup, where he defeated Connor Syme in the Sunday singles.
Scheffler is currently on 18 professional tournament wins, including 13 PGA Tour events and two major championships, both the 2022 and 2024 Masters Tournament, while also finishing second in the US Open, and PGA Championship.

The three-time PGA Tour Player of the Year has been inactive since he competed in 2025 The Players Championship in Florida, USA, where he finished 20th.
Scheffler is currently ranked at the top of the Official World Golf Rankings and has held that position for over 100 weeks.
Why Scheffler is among the favourites
The 28-year-old has finished as the runner-up in two of the last three Texas Children's Houston Open in 2024 and 2021, behind Stephan Jager, and Jason Kokrak respectively.
Scheffler, who is yet to win a single tournament in the current PGA Tour season, will be determined to secure his maiden victory when he tees off at the Memorial Park Municipal Golf Course.
