Bill Haas will be hoping to become the second golfer to win the
American Express title three or more times after five-time champion Arnold Palmer.
What to know about Haas
The American veteran has been a professional golfer since 2005 and he has won seven professional tournaments including six PGA Tour events.
Haas, who is the son of former PGA Tour player Jay Haas, won the 2011 FedEx Cup after clinching the season-ending Tour Championship.

The experienced golfer will be returning to competitive golf for the first time since June 2023's RBC Canadian Open in Toronto where he withdrew due to a shoulder injury.
Haas is currently placed 837th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is 12th place.
Why Haas is one of the favourites
Haas tends to bring his A game to the American Express having won this tournament in 2010 as the Bob Hope Classic and in 2015 as the Humana Challenge.
The 2015 triumph remains the 41-year-old's last win as a professional and he will be determined to end his trophy drought at the PGA West Pete Dye Stadium Course.

"So, what do you do? You go right. That second shot became pretty key, because I easily could have whiffed it, could have chunked it and moved it 5 yards.
"That was huge. Just fortunate that 5-wood came out like it did, because out of that Bermuda rough, anything can happen."
