Brian Harman, who is the highest-ranked golfer in the world among those who will compete in the
2024 Wyndham Championship, will be keen to live up to expectations.
What to know about Harman
The American golfer turned professional in 2009 having won the NCAA Preview, Isleworth Invitational, Players Amateur and the Porter Cup as an amateur.
Harman, who plays left-handed, has won five professional including three PGA events and 2023 The Open Championship his only golf major win.

The man nicknamed the Butcher has been inactive since he took part in 2024 The Open Championship in Scotland where he finished 60th.
The Butcher is currently placed 15th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is eighth.
Why Harman is among the favourites
Harman is yet to register a win in the 2024 PGA Tour season, but he finished second in The Players Championship behind world number Scottie Scheffler in March.
The University of Georgia alumnus will make his 11th Wyndham Championship start this week; his best result at Sedgefield was a third-place finish in 2013.

“When I take a break, I tend to come back a little rusty, and I feel like that has been kind of a problem for me here at Augusta,” Harman said at the 2024 Masters Tournament.
“Wanted to play last week, knock the rust off, and be as ready as I can to try and contend this week. Last week I had a couple of the same feelings I usually would have had this week.
"I was rusty, made a couple brain-dead bogeys. Hopefully got all that out of my system and can be a little sharper and ready to go this week.”
