The Squad : Premier League Special

Watford v Man City

The Journo: Watford put up an incredible fight on Monday against Chelsea and will do the same to cap off a decent season against City. I think they could hold out for a draw.
The Ex-Pro: City need to win to ensure that they remain in 3rd spot. Watford don’t have much to play for having secured their survival and the news of their Coaches sacking will have unsettled the squad.
The Fan: Watford are currently on a poor run of form and are currently sitting on 2 points less than last season. City will definitely want to finish the season on a high.

Burnley v West Ham

The Journo: Burnley should continue their impressive ome record and defeat a shakey West Ham side.
The Ex Pro: Burnley’s home form has been near impeccable. Their defense at home is almost unstoppable and they will want to put on a similar show for the home crowd on the final day.
The Fan: Burnley have been very strong at home this season, I can’t see a team like West Ham, who have struggled this season, beating them.

Leicester v Bournemouth

The Journo: Craig Shakespeare will want to cap this season off with a win to prove himself as a permanent fixture. They can definitely beat a Bournemouth time with a poor away record.
The Ex Pro: Both teams are safe and I can certainly see goals in this game, they will be evenly matched and we are in for an exciting game but I just can’t pick a winner. I’m going with a draw.
The Fan: Leicester have proved that they can win without Ranieri. Bournemouth just haven’t impressed me this season and I can’t see them beating the Foxes on the road.

Man United v Crystal Palace

The Journo: I can Only see United Drawing here. The young team that Mourinho will field have just not been up to scratch of late.
The Ex Pro: I just have to go with a home loss here. Mourinho is going to field a young squad who have not been performing well. An on form Palace should win it by the odd goal.
The Fan: United have had a whopping 15 draws this season with 10 of those coming at home. Mourinho won’t be fielding a strong side but they should be able to hold out for the draw.

Liverpool v Middlesbrough

The Journo: Liverpool are just too strong for Boro. If they manage a win here they could still finish 3rd dependent on the Man City and Arsenal results.
The Ex Pro: Boro seem to have accepted their relegation a few weeks back and will not be motivated or strong enough to beat a Liverpool team with everything to play for.
The Fan: The reds easily brushed West ham aside. Their home form has been exceptional this season and they should easily dispatch a relegated Boro side.

Chelsea v Sunderland

The Journo: The newly crowned champions will without a doubt cap off their season with a win against relegated Sunderland. I’m predicting goals goals goals!
The Ex Pro: Chelsea could play their 3rd team and they would still beat this Sunderland side.
The Fan: Sunderland can’t buy a win to save their lives. They are on horrendous form, lack motivation and regardless who Conte decides to play, a win is surely guaranteed.

Arsenal v Everton

The Journo: Arsenal have a lot to play for here. They can still finish top 4 depending on a few other results and will need to bring their A-game
The Ex Pro: Arsenal have looked good with their new formation but Everton have shown that they can be a really strong team. Both sides are capable of winning this but I can see it fizzling out into a draw.
The Fan: Everton away to the big sides have just not been great. Lukaku seems to be flat in big games and with Arsenal on a high and looking to secure a Champions league spot, they are looking like a solid contender under their new formation

Southampton v Stoke

The Journo: Southampton have impressed me this season while Stoke have just been below average. The Potters minds will already be on vacation and I can see them getting thumped here
The Ex Pro: Southampton played well and should have beaten United on Wednesday. Stoke were hammered 4-1 at home by Arsenal and I don’t think they will be up for the task this weekend.
The Fan: I can see this being a relatively tight game but Southampton should edge it thanks to their home advantage.

Swansea v West Brom

The Journo: This should be a great game in different circumstances but both teams don’t have much to play for. A somewhat boring draw is most likely on the cards.
The Ex Pro: Paul Clement has done a brilliant job to keep Swansea in the Premier League and West Brom have been appalling since securing safety.
The Fan: Swansea’s home form is the reason they are out of the relegation zone. They have improved under Paul Clement and should beat a West Brom side who have not won in 7 league games!

Hull City v Spurs

The Journo: Spurs will want to finish their impressive season with a win and Hull are the perfect opponents for them to inflict full damage on before the Tigers go down
The Ex Pro: It’s a cruel world where Hull, who have not played so badly this season, have been relegated. Marco Silva will want his players to go out with a bang and I can see an upset for Spurs who don’t have much to play for.
The Fan: Spurs will not make the same mistake as last season by losing on the final day of the Premier League. They should easily beat a relegated Hull City.
