Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will be eager to secure a victory at the
2020 Bahrain Grand Prix.
The Belgian star boosted his hopes of finishing second in the 2020 Formula One standings by finishing sixth at the recent Turkish Grand Prix.
Verstappen's rival Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes finished 14th and the duo will continue their battle for the runner-up spot this weekend in Sakhir.

The Turkish Grand Prix was won by Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton as he continues to dominate this season.
Racing Point driver Sergio Perez finished second at the Turkish Grand Prix and Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari secured a third spot finish.
The reigning Formula One world champion, Hamilton, remains at the top of the Drivers' Championship standings having successfully defended his title this year.
His teammate Valtteri Bottas and Verstappen are placed second and third respectively on the standings with three races remaining.
There is a 27-point gap between Verstappen and Bottas heading into the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Verstappen was disappointed after failing to secure a podium finish at the Turkish Grand Prix.
“Yeah it’s just very frustrating, to be honest. I tried to follow Checo [Perez] through that kink, and then suddenly I just massively washed out," Verstappen said.
"You get onto the green bit – big spin – trying to keep it out of the wall. Of course, I flat spotted the tyres. Around here there’s only one line in the dry and in the wet so you have to follow them exactly.
"It’s just driving in a train to be honest. It was just a very annoying, frustrating race – it was definitely one to forget.”
Mercedes, who have been crowned 2020 Formula One world constructors champions, are placed at the top of the standings with an unassailable lead of 504 points.
They are followed by second-placed Red Bull and third-placed Racing Point, who have accumulated 240 points and 154 points with three races remaining.
2019 Bahrain Grand Prix results:
Winner: Lewis Hamilton - Mercedes
Runner-Up: Valtteri Bottas - Mercedes
Third-Place: Charles Leclerc - Ferrari
