Memorial Tournament titles after Tiger Woods who won three successive trophies.

The American star, whose best performance in a golf major came at the 2013 US Open where he finished fourth, won his seventh PGA Tour title with a four-stroke victory at last year’s Memorial Tournament.
With the victory, Horschel became the sixth Memorial Tournament winner to have won the FedExCup crown, joining Woods, Patrick Cantlay, Justin Rose, Jim Furyk, and Vijay Singh.

The 2014 FedEx Cup champion took part in the most recent tournament on the 2022-23 PGA Tour season which was the Charles Schwab Challenge and he finished 40th.
Horschel, who has won nine professional tournaments including seven PGA Tour events, is currently placed 35th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his highest ranking is 11th.
Why Horschel is one of the favourites

Horschel will be oozing with confidence as the returns to the Muirfield Village Golf Club where the Florida-born star will be eager to replicate the form he displayed in last year's tournament.
Quotes
"I've watched Tiger and how he closes out events," Horschel said, seated next to Jack Nicklaus after winning the Memorial Tournament.
"And I wasn't born yet in Jack's heyday when he was winning, but I watched old footage. You watched how he plotted his way around the golf course.
"You took a lead and you made sure he was never giving up shots back to the guys. I have a very good understanding of how to win golf tournaments," he added.
"Have I put myself there a lot? No, but I think my record's pretty good when I do have a chance to win and closing out events."
