Cameron Young will be keen to record his first-ever victory on the PGA Tour by clinching the Rocket Mortgage Classic trophy.
What to know about Young
The American golfer has won four professional tournaments since he turned pro in 2020 and he had a breakout year in the PGA Tour’s 2021-22 season.
Young may have never won a PGA Tour event, but he finished second at the 2022 The Open Championship and third at the 2022 PGA Championship.

The 2021/22 PGA Tour Rookie of the Season was in action at the recent Travelers Championship where he secured a top 10 finish – coming home in ninth.
Young is currently placed 23rd on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best OWGR is 13th.

The New York-born sportsman is the highest-ranked player on the OWGR among those who are set to compete in the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Young, who finished second at the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic, has what it takes to go one step further and win this weekend's tournament.

“I think I kept myself in it mentally really well today,” said Young after he finished second in the 2024 Valspar Championship in March.
“I hit a couple shots I was really proud of late … I think I handled my own thoughts really well and, for me, that’s a big win regardless of the outcome.
“Honestly, I realized I wasn’t going to win pretty quickly, and I have a four-hour drive home with a one- and a two-year-old."
