Denver Nuggets will be hoping for another strong performance from Jamal Murray when they host New Orleans Pelicans at the Ball Arena on the morning of Saturday, January 13.
Murray was instrumental in their 131-114 victory over Detroit Pistons on January 8, posting a season-high 37 points after hitting 14 of 24 shots from the floor.
The Nuggets point guard is averaging 20.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game this season, although he missed the previous two encounters with the Pelicans in November through injury.
Their most recent meeting - a 115-110 victory for New Orleans on November 17 - saw Nikola Jokic register 26 points, 16 rebounds and 18 assists, but it wasn't enough to prevent their third defeat of the season.
Michael Malone's team have won three of their opening four games in 2024 and Jokic was more than happy to play provider against the Pistons after taking just three shots and scoring four points.

Murray had an off game against Orlando Magic on January 6 and Malone was delighted to see him bounce back two days later.
"His energy and his will to win really is infectious,"l Malone said. "When he sees that ball go in, he's really unguardable."
The Pelicans have improved in the last month and are pushing Dallas Mavericks for a playoff spot in the Western Conference after winning nine of their 14 games in December.
A 133-100 rout of Sacramento Kings on January 8 matched the Mavs' record of 22-15 and Willie Green's team are just outside the playoff places in seventh spot.
C.J. McCollum scored a game-high 30 points against the Kings, including seven 3-pointers as New Orleans led by 50 at one stage.
The shooting guard hailed his team-mates for providing him with the time and space to drain his shots and took delight from hearing the opposition fans jeer their own team.
"Guys did a great job of moving the ball around, setting great screens for me, allowing me to maintain rhythm and balance and let me shoot the ball with confidence," McCollum said.
"It's a really good feeling when you're able to beat a team on their home floor, and you hear their fans booing."
