German Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen are chasing a spot in the final of the DFB Pokal Cup as they welcome Bayern Munich on Tuesday at Bay Arena Stadium on 17 April 2018, kick-off is at 20:45.
The hosts are motivated as they take aim at Munich in their quest to reach the final for the cup competition and are in high spirits after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 4-1 last weekend.
A major win over Eintracht means they can cause an upset and defeat the new Bundesliga champions.
Although the league trophy has already been claimed by Bayern, a second finish and a cup glory will go a long way for Leverkusen. In their recent five matches, they claimed three wins, one draw and a single defeat.
For the champions, Bayern are seen as favourites heading to this clash and will want to continue with their unbeaten record.
They managed to win four matches in a row, but drew against Sevilla of Spain in the UEFA Champions League to reach the semi-final of the European competition last week.
Having lifted the Bundesliga title already, Bayern are looking at securing their second domestic trophy and are in high spirits as they challenge for the UEFA crown.
