2020 The Northern Trust
US PGA Tour
TPC Boston
Norton, Massachusetts, USA
20-23 August 2020
Tiger Woods will be keen to clinch his maiden
The Northern Trust title when he participates in the tournament at TPC Boston between 20-23 August.
The American superstar has enjoyed some success at the TPC Boston in the past having won the 2006 Deutsche Bank Championship (Dell Technologies Championship) at the same venue.
Woods, who is a winner of a record PGA Player of the Year awards, has also had two runners-up and a third in PGA Tour tournaments which were held at TPC Boston.
A victory at The Northern Trust will give the 15-time major winner the PGA tour wins record (83) that he shares with golf legend Sam Snead, with both men currently on 82 victories.

Woods' compatriot Patrick Reed is the defending champion having won last year's tournament and he clinched the competition for the second time in his career.
Nicknamed Mr T, Woods will continue his pursuit of a record-setting third FedExCup at next week’s The Northern Trust.
Mr T, who currently sits 47th in the FedExCup standings, was a FedExCup champion in 2007 and 2009.
The top 70 in the FedExCup following The Northern Trust will be eligible for the BMW Championship (Aug 27-30).
Furthermore, the top 30 after play at Olympia Fields will make it to the Tour Championship (Sep 4-7) at East Lake Golf Club.

Woods provided an update on his preparations ahead of the upcoming tournaments, The Northern Trust, Tour Championship as well as US Open.
“We've been training for that. Trying to get my strength and endurance up to that ability to make sure that I can handle that type of workload,” Woods said.
