The Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors will meet for a crunch
2020-21 NBA Regular Season game at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix on the morning of 29 January 2021, with tip-off at 05:00 CAT.
The Suns have endured a tough run of matches in recent times and will find it no easier coming into this clash with the Warriors, though coach Monty Williams remains proud of his team's efforts thus far in the 2020-21 campaign.
"We were able to look at a lot of our data on how we played in the first games, tweak a few things, have some discussions about our team," explained Williams.
"Had a lot of conversations with the players, trying to keep them informed. The training staff did an unreal job doing what they could to keep our guys locked in, conditioning, and quick twitch stuff."
The Warriors recently saw star man Stephen Curry pass Hall of Famer Reggie Miller for the second-most made 3-pointers in NBA history after making his 2,561st career 3-pointer early in the second half of a 127-108 loss to the Utah Jazz this past weekend. Curry now just 411 made 3-pointers behind Hall of Famer Ray Allen for the most in NBA history.
"It's special," Curry said. "I was trying to enjoy it in the middle of the game because I knew it was on the horizon and I knew how much I looked up to him [Miller] growing up, watching him play, playing against my dad. Emulating a lot of things he did moving without the ball. I always said him and Steve Nash, I always tried to put those two players together ..."

In head-to-head terms, the Suns and the Warriors have met in 248 Regular Season games since 1968-69. Phoenix have claimed 140 wins compared to 108 for Golden State.
The teams met in four Regular Season games in 2019-20, with each claiming two wins. The fourth and final clash was in February 2020, with the Warriors winning 115-99 at home thanks to 20 points from Damion Lee.
