Quotes
“We know we have to keep working, but tonight, despite the difficulties we faced, we did well. The boys put in a good performance, and in the second half, we could have doubled our lead," Inter manager Simone Inzaghi said after the win over Roma.
"Let’s not forget that the Olimpico is a tough ground, so I’m very pleased. I would have made different choices with Asllani and Zielinski tonight because Calha (Hakan Çalhanoğlu) wasn’t feeling well over the past two days, but he seemed fine during the warm-up.
"We spoke with the team about our away points, as we knew we were lacking, and we were aware of the challenge tonight. At home, we’ve been doing well, and we knew it would be tough tonight, but we stayed united. Winning here isn’t easy for anyone. Lautaro (Martinez) is among the top five players in the world, and he deserves all the credit."
Head-to-Head
Inter secured a 1-0 win over Juventus in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 4 February at San Siro.
Therefore, I Nerazzurri are unbeaten in their last two matches in the league against the Old Lady having registered one win and one draw.
