As one of two unbeaten teams in the
2024/25 Spanish LaLiga currently, Real Madrid will now turn their attention to Celta Vigo on matchday 10 in a clash that is scheduled to take place at Balaidos on Saturday night.
With Madrid boasting one of the strongest teams on paper in Europe, Carlo Ancelotti’s charges have remained unbeaten in LaLiga after nine matches played so far.
Los Blancos head into their next game on the back of a 2-0 win against Villareal and currently occupy 2nd on the log with 21 points to their name.
Adding to their confidence, Madrid have beaten Celta Vigo in each of their last handful of fixtures in the league.
While Madrid impresses early on, Celta Vigo head into the next game sitting in 9th position on the table.
Celta Vigo recorded a mixed bag of results in their last five matches, jotting down two wins, two defeats and a single draw since the 15th of September.

Despite their sticky spell, Celta Vigo coach Claudio Giraldez recently revealed that the club have intentions of penning him down with a new deal in the coming weeks.
" I assume it will be a matter of a few days or a few weeks. I think that both parties are on the same page and it will be easy" to close the contract extension agreement,” Giraldez told Galician public channel.
"I would like to be here longer. It also makes no sense to make a contract for many years because it is impossible to assess what can happen."

Real Madrid have confirmed that they will be without stalwart right-back Dani Carvajal for the next few months, who underwent surgery on his right knee last week.
“Our player Dani Carvajal successfully underwent surgery today by Dr. Manuel Leyes on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and posteroexternal instability in his right knee, under the supervision of the Real Madrid Medical Services,” Madrid explained on their official website.
“Carvajal will begin his recovery process in the coming days.”
