Martin Laird will be looking to emulate Jim Furyk when he starts his defence of the
Shriners Hospital for Children Open title.

Laird, who is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, has won the Shriners Hospital for Children Open title twice in 2009 and 2020.

A win at this week's competition will see Laird join American legend Furyk as the most decorated players in the history of the tournament having won three titles.
The Glasgow-born star has won four PGA Tour events in his career, most recently the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in 2020.
Laird won in a playoff over Matthew Wolff and Austin Cook with a birdie on the second playoff hole.
The 2013 Valero Texas Open winner will be hoping to end his trophy drought by successfully defending his title in Las Vegas.

"Sometimes you come back and just want to be playing great right away," Laird said about the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
"I knew it would be a process. I knew it was trending the right direction, and I was coming to a course I love.
"But I wasn't getting ahead of myself thinking I was going to come back and win as soon as I did. Just makes it that much sweeter.''
