The Milwaukee Bucks will chase a victory on their first away trip in the 2021-21 NBA Regular Season when they face the Miami Heat at the FTX Arena in Miami, Florida on Friday 22 October 2021. Tip-off is at 00:00.
The Heat wrapped up their Pre-Season work with a 121-100 home win over the Boston Celtics this past weekend, as Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro racked up 25 and 29 points respectively. Herro has drawn criticism for recently claiming that he should be considered amongst the NBA’s elite players, but is hoping to back up his strong words with equally strong performances.

“I feel like I’m in the same conversation as those guys, the young guys coming up in the league who can be All-Stars, Superstars one day – Luka [Doncic], Trae Ja [Young], you know, those guys, I feel like my name should be in that category too,” said Herro. “I put the work in and continue to get better every single day. I got a lot of goals in mind, to be an All-Star one day, and continue to chase my dream so I’m really excited to see where I can go.”
Milwaukee have not recorded stellar results in Pre-Season, notably losing to the likes of the Memphis Grizzlies, Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks, but the reigning NBA champions will look to click back into form for the Regular Season.

"The goal is always the same," said Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer, who recently signed a three-year contract extension that runs through the 2024-25 season. "We feel good about the success we've had for three years. This last year ended with a championship but our players embrace the idea of getting better every day."
In head-to-head stats, the Heat and the Bucks have met in 118 Regular Season games since 1988-89, with Miami claiming 71 wins compared to 47 for Milwaukee. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in May 2021, with the Bucks winning 122-108 at home.
