Suzuki rider Joan Mir will be looking to bounce back at the Algarve
MotoGP on November 7 after enduring a disappointing race at the Emilia Romagna MotoGP.
The Spanish star only lasted two laps during the race after a collision with KTM's Danilo Petrucci which ended both of their afternoons early as they were forced to retire on October 24.
Mir will have good memories of the Algarve International Circuit as he secured a podium finish at the Portuguese MotoGP in April this year - finishing third.

The 2021 Emilia Romagna MotoGP was won by Honda rider Marc Marquez, who won the race for the first time in his illustrious career.
While his teammate Pol Espargaro and Enea Bastianini of Ducati finished second and third respectively in a race which took place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo was crowned 2021 MotoGP world champion following the Emilia Romagna MotoGP, while Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati is placed second on the standings.
Mir, who won the 2020 MotoGP world championship, is placed third on the standings - 27 points behind second-placed Bagnaia with two races left.

"We still have serious chances to finish second in the championship," Mir said as he opened up about his hopes of securing the runner-up spot.
"That is not my goal. But I will give everything to try to do it. I’d be really happy if I’m able to do second this year. Let’s see. I know the Ducatis, especially Pecco is always strong.
"And their potential is really high."
Ducati are placed at the top of Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Yamaha and Suzuki respectively.
