Mo Salah : The Egyptian Magician

The Egyptian international has been one of the most outstanding players in the English Premier League (EPL) in the current 2017/18 campaign.

Salah produced a Man of the Match performance as his side, Liverpool FC thumped West Ham United 4-1 in an EPL match at the London Stadium on Saturday. The 25-year-old, who joined the Reds from Italian side AS Roma prior to the current campaign, grabbed a brace which took his tally up to seven league goals for this season. He is only a goal behind joint leading goalscorers Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) in the race for this season's EPL Golden Boot. However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp feels that Salah, who has netted 12 goals in 17 matches in all competitions, can still improve.

"It was completely different today to the things that he is used to," Klopp said on Daily Mail. "He did really well. He is so open to get used to what we do and that is really nice. "I’m really happy that he could make this decisive moment. They were all decisive by the end but I would like to have this answer always when we concede a goal," he continued. "It would make life easier. He needs to get used to the intensity that we ask. It’s not that Arsenal didn’t, they play fantastic football. "But we are really on it with these counter-pressing things and the switch immediately to make the break," the German tactician added. "We are all used to it but he will be a really important player for us."

Salah, who played an instrumental role in helping Egypt qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, will be given a well-earned rest later this month. He has been left out of the latest Egypt squad that will face Ghana in his country's final World Cup qualifier on November 12.
