2024-25 Premier League

Matchday 29

Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur

Craven Cottage

Sunday, 16 March 2025

Kick-off at 13:30

London rivals Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur will cross swords in a Premier League Matchday 29 clash, set for Craven Cottage on the afternoon of Sunday, 16 March 2025. Kick-off is at 13:30

Current Form

Fulham suffered a second defeat from their last three Premier League matches when they were beaten 2-1 at Brighton & Hove Albion this past weekend. The West London club is placed 10th on the log with 42 points – five points off the pace of the top five positions which guarantee European football for next season.

The Cottagers have struggled at home this season, recording just five wins from 14 matches as hosts. Their last result at Craven Cottage was a 2-0 defeat at the hands of fellow Londoners Crystal Palace on 22 February.

Tottenham have gone three matches without a win across all competitions after they were held 2-2 at home by AFC Bournemouth this past weekend. The North London club fought back from two goals down thanks to strikes from Pape Sarr and Son Heung-min. They are placed 13th on the log on 34 points – eight points short of the top half of the table.

Spurs have recorded five wins, one draw and seven defeats in their 13 away league matches this season. Their most recent domestic away trip brought a 4-1 triumph at Ipswich Town.

Team News

Fulham will be without Sasa Lukic due to suspension, while Harry Wilson, Kenny Tete and Reiss Nelson are out injured.

Tottenham’s injury list is the influential trio of Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Radu Dragusin.

Quotes

“It was a chaotic game today and the boys showed a real mentality. It would have been really easy at 2-0, with the atmosphere in the stadium, to let it slip away from us but they fought hard and got themselves back in the game,” said Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou after the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

"It was a different kind of struggle for us today. Bournemouth pressed really well and we were really sloppy with the ball at times which allowed them to pin us back. It wasn't anything like Thursday [loss to AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa League] but we hung in there.”

Head-to-Head

In head-to-head stats, Fulham and Tottenham have met in 106 matches across all competitions since 1903. Spurs have claimed 55 wins compared to 20 for the Cottagers, while 31 games have been drawn.

The teams’ most recent meeting was a Premier League match in December 2024 which ended 1-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with goals from Brennan Johnson and Tom Cairney for the hosts and visitors respectively.
