Manchester United v Crystal Palace
Old Trafford

Kick-off is at 14h00

Manchester United will be looking to build on only their fourth win under Ruben Amorim in the Premier League when Crystal Palace visit Old Trafford on Sunday, February 2.

The Red Devils edged Fulham 1-0 in West London on January 26, although it wasn't very convincing as they managed just four shots at goal to the hosts' nine.

It was also their first clean sheet in four matches, with Andre Onana having let in 32 goals from his 23 top-flight appearances to leave United with a minus-four goal difference in 12th place.

Amorim's side climbed above Palace in the standings after the South Londoners fell to a 2-1 defeat against local rivals Brentford at Selhurst Park on January 26.

The Eagles trail their upcoming opponents by two points in 13th position and saw West Ham go level with them on 27 points in 14th spot.

Both teams have some work to do to if they want to challenge for a top-10 finish, with United still four points adrift of the Cottagers, who occupy 10th place.

The Red Devils continue to be without Luke Shaw (calf), Jonny Evans (muscular), Mason Mount (thigh) and Victor Lindelof, while Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro will be assessed after the trio being up knocks at Fulham.

Adam Wharton, Matheus Franca (both groin), Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad (both knee) are all unavailable for Oliver Glasner's side.

Amorim suggested there is no way back for Marcus Rashford if his attitude doesn't improve in training. The forward was left out of the matchday squad once more against Palace and hasn't featured in the last eight league games.

"It's always the same reason," the Portuguese said. "The reason is the training, the way I see what a footballer should do in training, in life and it's every day, every detail. So if things don't change, I will not change.

"It's the same situation for every player. If you do the maximum, if you do the right things, we can use every player. And you can see it today on the bench, we miss a little bit of pace to go, to change the game, to move some pieces, but I prefer it like that.

"I will put [Jorge] Vital [goalkeeping coach] before I put a player who doesn't give the maximum every day, so I will not change in that part."

Glasner acknowledged it wasn't a great day at the office for his team and felt that Bryan Mbeumo's 66th-minute penalty could have been avoided with better defending in their own box.

"I think it was game where both teams neutralised each other, with not as many chances as you would like. And it was whoever made the first mistake loses the game. We were that team unfortunately because of how the penalty happened," the Austrian told Sky Sports.

"We had the ball four times and gave it away. It's in our own box and we can't clear the ball, then it's a penalty. It's unlucky with VAR then intervening to give them a second chance. This situation decided the game.

"We were fighting back for the 2-2 looking for one more situation. They were very efficient today. We never had really pressure or made pressure and I can't explain it. It wasn't a great game from both sides and that's why we lost."
