PSG’s record $600 million signing of Neymar see’s the Brazilian continue to earn the previously agreed salary total of $350 million which will run until June 2022. This firmly puts Neymar on this list, and his additional earnings come from a range of sponsorships with Nike, Red Bull, Gillette, McDonald’s and Beats by Dre.

Earning roughly $85 million for his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor makes the number 4 spot on this list. He also has a range of partners including Burger King, Beats by Dre and Monster Energy.

Ronaldo’s current earnings at Juventus are around three times higher than any other player in Italian football. He also has a lifetime contract with Nike that is worth more than $1 billion as well as deals with EA Sports and American Tourister.
