The Jazz continue to be one of the top teams in the Western Conference, with this past weekend seeing Utah underline their class with a 137-130 home win over the Boston Celtics – featuring 34 points and six assists from Donovan Mitchell. "This comes from preparation," Mitchell said. "I got to give coach [Quin Snyder] credit for that."

"It feels good to get that win," said Rudy Gobert, who himself claimed 18 points. "We could have broke down and stopped playing the right way mentally. But we kept moving the ball, we kept attacking, we kept trusting one another. It's a huge win for us."
The 76ers, meanwhile, are very much in mid-table in the Eastern Conference, though this past weekend brought a 98-96 away win over the Atlanta Hawks, with 28 points from Joel Embiid – including a 13-foot jumper late on that secured victory.

"Right, wrong or indifferent, we've lost a bunch of close games this year," said Philadelphia's Georges Niang, who scored 13 points. "Never apologise for winning, especially when you can get a win on the road against a good team. You're going to be excited, and we are."
In head-to-head stats, the 76ers and the Jazz have met in 104 Regular Season games since 1974-75, with Utah claiming 57 wins compared to 47 for Philadelphia. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in November 2021, with the Jazz winning 120-85 at home thanks to 27 and 20 points from Bojan Bogdanovic and Jordan Clarkson respectively.
