Aston Villa will square off with Manchester United in an
English Premier League match at Villa Park on July 09.
This will be the 50th meeting between the two former English champions in the Premier League era.
United have the upper hand in this fixture having recorded 34 wins compared to Villa's three victories, while 12 games ended in a draw.
The two teams played to a 2-2 draw in their last meeting in the league on 01 December 2019 at the Old Trafford Stadium.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the United manager, is happy with his players' form with six matches left in the Premier League.

“Paul [Pogba], Marcus [Rashford] they’re getting sharper, Mason [Greenwood] is improving all the time and, of course, we’ve got players that didn’t start that have had a fantastic season.“
Meanwhile, Villa suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in their last home match in the league on June 27.
The defeat extended the Lions' winless run to four matches at home having registered three defeats and one draw.
While United thrashed a hapless Brighton and Hove Albion side 3-0 in their last away match in the league on June 30.
The win extended the Red Devils' unbeaten run to four matches on the road having recorded two draws and two victories.
