Valencia CF will face off with FC Barcelona in a Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de Mestalla on Sunday.
Los Che secured a 2-0 victory over Espanyol in their previous league match which was played at the RCDE Stadium last weekend. The win extended Valencia's winning run to eight matches in the league. They beat Leganes 3-0 in their last home league game almost three weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Barcelona thrashed Leganes 3-0 in their previous league game which was played at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque last weekend. This was Blaugrana's fourth consecutive victory in the league. Barcelona and Valencia are both undefeated in the league this season. The last time Valencia and Barcelona met in a league game was on 19 March 2017 during the 2016/17 campaign. Barcelona ran out 4-2 winners over Valencia at the Camp Nou.
