Arsenal and Manchester United cap-off round 7 of 2019/20 English Premier League action when they meet at Old Trafford on Monday night. Both teams have had disappointing starts to their league campaigns and will look at this fixture to get a good result and turn their respective seasons around.

After six matches Man United find themselves in lowly eighth, which is simply not good enough given their lofty standards. Having only collected five points from a possible 15 since that opening weekend 4-0 thumping of Chelsea, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has yet again found himself facing scrutiny from the Red Devils' fanbase.

United will be without Marcus Rashford due to injury

Hampered by the injury of star forward Marcus Rashford, Solskjaer would hope that a possible return for striker Anthony Martial and superstar midfielder Paul Pogba can boost his squad who will undoubtedly be low on morale after losing to West Ham United last weekend, and then subsequently being taken to penalties by League One side Rochdale in midweek.

Similarly, the North-London side's fanbase has been very critical of their team's boss, as Unai Emery has struggled to find his best starting XI. Club captain Granit Xhaka has especially been on the wrong side of the fans and his substitution in Arsenal's come-from-behind win against Aston Villa was met with ironic jeers.

This could be a make or break fixture for Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

Although Arsenal has won three matches in a row since that disappointing outing against Watford, keeping clean sheets in two of those matches, Emery's position is still under fire as the team struggles to adapt to his footballing style and tactics.

Arsenal have been in terrible form away from home and this game against United at Old Trafford will be the ideal opportunity for the Gunners to turn around their fortunes.

Arsenal will arguably be slight favourites to win the clash as their hosts aim to regain former Premier League glory, but the Gunners' performances against "top 6" sides, especially away from home, has been questionable for the better part of half a decade and they have been unable to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League since 2006. Back your team in this epic encounter with Betway!
