2020-21 FA Cup
Third Round Proper (Last 64)
8-11 January 2021
Stoke City will host Leicester City in a third round
2020-21 FA Cup tie at Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.
This will be the first meeting between the two clubs since the 2017-18 Premier League season. Both games ended in draws, with a 2-2 stalemate in Stoke-on-Trent followed by a 1-1 draw at King Power Stadium. Xherdan Shaqiri scored in both games for Stoke.

The Potters' only FA Cup final appearance came in 2011 when they were defeated 1-0 by Manchester City. The Foxes have also never won England's most prestigious cup competition despite reaching four finals, the last of which came way back in 1969 when they lost to the same opponents by the same scoreline.

Stoke haven't won a FA Cup game since beating Doncaster Rovers in 2016 and lost to Brentford in the third round last season. Leicester went as far as the quarter-finals last season before losing to eventual runners-up Chelsea.
This will be the first FA Cup meeting between Stoke and Leicester since 2014 when the Potters claimed a 2-1 win with goals from Kenwyne Jones and Charlie Adam.
