WBA (Super) and The Ring super-middleweight world champion Callum Smith will put his titles on the line when he faces John Ryder on Saturday.

The Englishman boxer (26-0, 19 KOs) remains undefeated having clinched his titles after defeating his countryman George Groves in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 28th of September 2018.

Smith then successfully defended his belts against French fighter Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam in New York City, USA on the 1st of June 2019.

The 29-year-old fighter is brimming with confidence ahead of his fight with Ryder as he believes that the best version of himself beats any super-middleweight on the planet.

“I’m expecting a tough fight from John Ryder, he’s in good shape and it’s a big opportunity for him," Smith said on Fight News.

"I just think the best version of me beats any super middleweight on the planet.  With the way I’ve been performing in the gym, I think I’m going to put in a big performance. You’ve got to respect him because he’s in good form.

"He’s won fights where he was the underdog and he wasn’t supposed to win."
