Deportivo Alaves will square off with Atletico Madrid in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de Mendizorroza on September 25.
The Glorious One succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Espanyol away in their most recent league in a match which was played on September 22.
The defeat extended Alaves' winless run to six matches in this competition having recorded six consecutive defeats and they remain winless this term.

Alaves are also winless in their last three matches at their home ground, Estadio de Mendizorroza in La Liga having registered three successive defeats.
Meanwhile, Atletico claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Getafe away in a league game that was played on September 21.
The win extended the Mattress Makers' unbeaten run to 11 matches in this competition having recorded eight wins and three draws.
Atletico are also unbeaten in their last six matches on the road in La Liga having registered one draw and five victories as the visitors.

“We’re at the start of the season. There are many situations that the team needs to overcome," Atletico manager Diego Simeone said after their victory over Getafe.
"The team hasn’t been as we would like them to be. The game was against a difficult opponent, who aren’t going to lose all season and are dangerous.
"We chatted at half-time and then, even aside from the goals, we saw another team that played with more offensive forcefulness. We have to continue managing that and wait for our most important players to hit their best form.”
The last meeting between Alaves and Atletico in a league encounter was on 21 March 2021.
Atletico emerged 1-0 winners over Alaves in a match that took place at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
