The Blades emerged as one of the surprise packages in the Premier League last season and managed a ninth place finish, having dropped out of the Europa League places in the final two weeks of the season following three straight defeats.
Chris Wilder has kept faith in the team that proved a lot of people wrong last season and will be hoping for another season of wrong proving.
Wolves finished two spots and five points above United as they continue to establish themselves as genuine top five contenders. Likewise, Nuno Espírito Santo has been able to keep hold of star players Adama Traore, Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves while the arrival of Fabio Silva further boosts their attacking options and Portuguese core.
Fernando Marçal has also arrived from Lyon for a Wolves side that continues to attract top-rated players.

“We know how good Wolves are and how much quality they’ve got in their team,” Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie told SUTV.
“They’ve kind of just finished their season last week, or the week before.
“It will be tough for them, but they’ve got a big squad, a real good squad. I’m sure they’ll be able to cope with that.”
