Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc is eager to clinch his maiden
Italian Grand Prix title on Sunday.
The Monégasque driver, who won the recent Belgian Grand Prix, finished 16th in last year's Italian Grand Prix.
The race was won by Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton which was his fifth Italian Grand Prix title.
Current Alfa Romeo Racing driver Kimi Räikkönen, who was representing Ferrari, secured a second spot finish.
While Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas settled for third place in the city of Monza.
Leclerc remains fifth on the World Drivers' standings and he is now 69 points behind reigning world Formula One champion Hamilton, who is the leader.
Bottas is still in second place, but he is now 111 points behind the leader with eight races left.
Mercedes also remain at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings having accumulated 471 points from 13 races.
Their rivals Ferrari remain in second place in the standings with 326 points.
Mercedes are hoping to clinch their sixth successive Constructors Championship titles this year.
