US Sassuolo will play host to Inter Milan in an Italian
Serie A match at the MAPEI Stadium on October 8.
The Black and Greens thumped a hapless US Cremonese 5-0 in their previous league game which was played on October 2.
As a result, Sassuolo are undefeated in their last two matches in this competition having recorded two consecutive wins.

The win over Cremonese ended the Black and Greens' two-match winless run at home in Serie A having registered a defeat and a draw at the MAPEI Stadium.
Meanwhile, Inter succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to AS Roma at home in their previous league game which was played on October 1.

As a result, Sassuolo are winless in their last two matches in this competition having recorded two consecutive defeats.

"We need to do more and work harder because we've lost a game this evening where we've hit the bar and created numerous chances," Inter manager Simone Inzaghi said after their loss to Sassuolo.
"This means that what we are doing isn't enough. I got a great response from the players, who played really well. It's normal that we're disappointed for the fans who were right behind us until the end.
"Unfortunately, we must lick our wounds for a defeat that's hard to take."
The last meeting between Sassuolo and Inter in the league was on 20 February 2022.
Sassuolo stunned Inter as they emerged as 2-0 winners in a match that was played at the biggest stadium in Italy, Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
