Athletic Bilbao will square off with Atletico Madrid in a
Spanish La Liga match at the San Mames Barria on October 15.
The Lions managed to hold Sevilla FC to a 1-1 draw away in their previous league game which was played on October 8.
As a result, Bilbao are undefeated in their last four matches in this competition having recorded three successive victories and one draw.

The Lions are also undefeated in their last two matches at home in La Liga having registered two consecutive wins at the San Mames Barria.
"It was an intense match. They played very well and we lacked a bit of drive at the start. We gradually relaxed and did better," Ernesto Valverde, the Bilbao manager said after their draw against Sevilla.

Meanwhile, Atletico secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Girona FC at home in their previous league encounter which was played on October 8.
Therefore, the Mattress Makers are undefeated in their last two matches in this competition having recorded two successive wins.
Atletico are also undefeated in their last six matches on the road in La Liga having registered one draw and five wins as the visitors.
The last meeting between Bilbao and Atletico in a league match was on 30 April 2022.
