Oranje go into their penultimate Group G qualifier two points clear of second-placed Norway who they will host in Rotterdam next Tuesday. The winner of the group will secure automatic qualification for next year's World Cup in Qatar.
The Dutch have enjoyed a good run of form under Louis van Gaal in the qualifiers. Van Gaal was re-appointed as Netherlands head coach in August, and has steered the three-time World Cup runners-up to four wins on the bounce.
"We are really pleased with the results. But we think we can play even better football than we have, especially when we have the ball, being more relaxed and looking for spaces where a man is free. We can do much better in this respect, but results-wise we’re very happy," Dutch midfielder Gini Wijnaldum told
FIFA.com last month.
Montenegro aren't out of the running for World Cup qualification themselves and could throw the cat amongst the pigeons with back-to-back wins over the Netherlands and Turkey on home soil this month; in what is a very competitive group.

The Netherlands beat Montenegro 4-0 in Eindhoven in September. Goals from Memphis Depay (two), Wijnaldum and Cody Gakpo steered the hosts to a comfortable win.
