Last year we had an incredible NFL season with The Rams making it all the way to the Super Bowl for the first time in 20 years. Despite The Rams amazing effort, it was The New England Patriots who were victorious in their 6th Super Bowl which is a record they now share with the Pittsburg Steelers. What history will be made as we head into the 2019/20 season?

The NFL pre-season is already well underway. We've already seen the defending champions utterly destroy The Lions 31-3 and The Rams, who were so good last season, fail against The Raiders in a 14-3 defeat. The 65 game pre-season started on August 8 and will run until August 29. Once that's done we'll head into the regular season. Below you'll find the first week's fixtures:

American Football Conference (AFC)
East

Buffalo Bills
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Nobody would bet against the New England Patriots finishing outside the top spot in this division. Last season they made it 10 consecutive AFC East titles on their way to winning the Super Bowl. If they manage to finish first this year it'll be the 17th time they'll have done so in 19 years.

Denver Broncos
Kansas City Chiefs
Oakland Raiders
Los Angeles Chargers
With the Raiders and the Broncos going through a bit of a transitional phase, we expect this to be another race to the finish between the Chargers and the Chiefs.

Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Cleveland Browns haven't won in their division since the late 1980's and this year looks like more of the same. Although the Raven's took it last year, this year our money is on the Steelers.
South

Houston Texans
Indianapolis Colts
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans
The Colts and Texans have been the strongest in their divisions in recent years and we don't expect that to change. The Texans however, may just be able to edge out the Colts for the top spot.
National Football Conference (NFC)

Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
The Bears won it last season, but the Packers are sporting a new coach in Matt LeFleur. Anything could happen in the race to first between these two top teams.

Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
New Orleans Saints
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This is always a difficult division to judge, but we expect the New Orleans Saints to take it again this year, much like they did last.
East

Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
The Cowboys won the division last year but the Philly Eagles always represent strong competition and we're backing them to come out on top this year.

Arizona Cardinals
Los Angeles Rams
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks
The Rams got a taste of Super Bowl glory last year and they'll be hungry for more this year too. They are by far the strongest team in this division and we don't see any upsets happening this season.
