2019 Formula 1 season
Round 16, Russian Grand Prix
Sochi Autodrom, Sochi
Sunday 29 September
Mercedes will be out to continue their dominance at the
Russian Grand Prix in Sochi when they take to the track in the 16th round of the Formula 1 season this weekend.
The German team have accounted for all five of the race wins in Sochi in the modern era since it's introduction to the Formula 1 circuit in 2014.
Lewis Hamilton won the first two races before Nico Rosberg came up trumps in 2016 followed by Valtteri Bottas a year later. Hamilton won the most recent race at the circuit, finishing ahead of Bottas and Sebastian Vettel last year.
Ferrari, though, head into Russia as the form team following back-to-back-to-back wins in Belgium, Italy and Singapore respectively.
Charles Leclerc claimed the checkered flag in both Belgium and Italy before Vettel's win last weekend.
