Scottie Scheffler will be determined to win the
AT&T Byron Nelson for the first time as he eyes the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) top spot.

The American star remains among the best golfers on the planet and he is a former world number one having first reached the position in March 2022.
Scheffler has won eight professional tournaments including six PGA events and one golf major namely, the 2022 Masters Tournament.

The reigning PGA Tour Player of the Season took a break from professional golf after competing in the 2023 RBC Heritage in South Carolina, USA.
Scheffler finished 11 at the RBC Heritage and he finds himself placed second in the OWGR behind Jon Rahm of Spain at the moment.

The 26-year-old is a clear favourite to win the AT&T Byron Nelson which is set to take place in Texas where Scheffler resides.
Scheffler has won two PGA Tour events in 2023 namely, the WM Phoenix Open and The Players Championship, and he is now looking to add another trophy to his cabinet.
With the in-form Rahm absent at the AT&T Byron Nelson, Scheffler will view the tourmament as an opportunity to win the event and boost his ranking on the OWGR.
