Valencia CF will take on FC Celta Vigo in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de Mestalla on May 22.
The Bats let their lead slip in their 1-1 draw with RCD Espanyol away in their previous league game that was played on May 14.
Valencia are now winless in their last eight matches in this competition having recorded three defeats and five draws.

Valencia are also winless in their last four matches at home in La Liga having registered two consecutive draws and two defeats at the Estadio de Mestalla.
“I had discomfort in my shoulder, but I continued in the game. Now we have to rest and recover ahead of the next game," Valencia star Thierry Correia said after their clash with Espanyol.
“There are games in which we play well, but in which we relax like we did today, leading to the equaliser for them. In the second half we looked for the goal and it was not possible. We worked hard and well."
“When I arrived here I had a lot of difficulties, and seeing the players that are moving up makes me happy. Mario was very happy. He came in and did very well. He was unlucky because he could have had a penalty, but he was very good."

Meanwhile, Celta secured a narrow 2-1 win over Elche CF at home in their previous league encounter which was played on May 15.
It was the Skye Blues' second win in their last three matches in this competition, while the other game ended in a defeat to FC Barcelona before they faced Elche.
Celta are winless in their last two away matches in La Liga having registered one draws and one defeat as the visitors.
The last meeting between Valencia and Celta in a league match was on 5 December 2021.
Valencia secured a 2-1 win over Celta in a match that was played at the 1982 FIFA World Cup venue, Estadio de Balaídos.
