2020/21 UEFA Champions League
Semi-Final - Second-Leg

Wednesday, 5 May 2021
Kick-Off is at 19h00
Chelsea FC will be banking on the home ground advantage when they host Real Madrid in the
UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg game on May 5.
The first-leg encounter ended in a 1-1 stalemate with Karim Benzema canceling out Christian Pulisic's opening goal in Spain on April 27.
Chelsea will advance to the Champions League final for the third time in the club's history if they secure a victory over the Spanish giants.

A 0-0 draw will also see the former English champions secure their place in the final of Europe's most prestigious club tournament.
Chelsea's previous semi-final tie in the Champions League was against three-time runners-up Atletico Madrid during the 2013/14 season.
The Blues crashed out of the tournament after succumbing to a 3-1 defeat to the Spanish giants on aggregate.
Pulisic, who became the first USA player to score in the Champions League semi-finals, could be key to a Chelsea win over Madrid in London.

Thomas Tuchel, the Chelsea manager, has urged his troops to stay calm and not to lose confidence ahead of the important second-leg encounter.
"It was a disappointing score at half-time. We had to stay calm and not lose confidence. The second half was very tactical," Tuchel said.
"You could feel that we are a bit tired. We only had a few days to recover from another tough away game. We have to live with 1-1.
"The goal was well deserved and we should have scored at least one more."
Chelsea will host Madrid for the first time in a competitive match having met in two UEFA Super Cups, European Cup Winners Cup final match and one Champions League game.
