Tottenham Hotspur will play host to Manchester United in an English Premier League (EPL) match at the White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.
The Lillywhites saw their nine-match unbeaten run in the league come to an end when they lost 1-0 to West Ham United at the London Stadium last week Friday. They had impressively won nine consecutively. They defeated their rivals Arsenal 2-0 in their last home league game two weeks ago. United also saw their 25-match unbeaten run in the league come to an end when they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.
The Red Devils had recorded eight victories and three draws on the road during their incredible run in one of the toughest leagues in the world. When Spurs and United clashed in the first-round league match last December, the latter registered a 1-0 victory at the Old Trafford Stadium.
The last time Lillywhites hosted the Red Devils in a league game, United won 3-0 during the 2015/16 campaign. Spurs and United have met 185 times in competitive matches. The latter have dominated this fixture - winning 88 games, while the Lillywhites have won 49.
