Bergamo, Italy
Saturday, 4 March 2023

Italian Serie A match at the Gewiss Stadium on March 4.
Current Form
The Goddess suffered a 2-0 defeat to AC Milan away on February 26 as they extended their winless run to two matches in the league.
Atalanta lost to US Lecce in their last game at home and the defeat ended their two-match unbeaten run at the Gewiss Stadium.
While Udinese were held to a 1-1 draw by Spezia Calcio away on February 26 as they extended their winless run to five matches in Serie A.
The Little Zebras are also winless in their last two matches on the road having registered two consecutive defeats as the visitors.
What Is At Stake
Atalanta's bid to finish in the top four is still on track as they are placed sixth on the league standings - three points behind fourth-placed AS Roma.
However, Roma have a game in hand which means it is imperative for Atalanta to win their matches including their clash with Udinese.
Udinese are placed 10th on the league standings and they will be looking to consolidate their position by securing a win over Atalanta.
Team News
The Atalanta trio of Hans Hateboer, Duvan Zapata and Mario Pasalic will miss the game against Udinese due to their respective injuries.
Meanwhile, the Udinese duo of Gerard Deulofeu and Enzo Ebosse are both nursing injuries while Kingsley Ehizibue will be missing due to a one-match suspension.
Key Players
Ademola Lookman is the man to watchout for in this Atalanta side having scored 12 goals in Serie A this season and the Nigeria forward will be keen to add to his tally.
While Norberto Bercique Gomes Betuncal is Udinese's key player having netted eight league goals this term and the Portuguese attacker will be eager to inspire his side to a win.

Quotes
“This is Atalanta, we gave our all this evening and tried everything, but Milan were superior on the night and we must learn from these games to focus on the next game against Udinese," Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini said.
"That will be very important, as it can allow us to maintain a gap from the teams behind us in the table. What we saw tonight was that despite our best efforts, it is evident that Milan simply had more than we did.
“It was partly Milan's aggressive approach, partly we did not achieve what we wanted to and partly we did not manage to start counter-attacks as reliably. We were also unfortunate on the goal, because with the first shot on target from distance, it went in and made things more difficult."
Head-to-Head
The two teams played to a 2-2 draw in their last meeting in the league which was on 9 October 2022 at the Dacia Arena.
The draw extended Atalanta's unbeaten run against Udinese to 10 matches in the Serie A having recorded three draws and seven wins.
