Kick-off is at 17h30
Villarreal CF will lock horns with Real Betis in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de la Cerámica on March 12.
Current Form
The Yellow Submarine emerged as 2-0 winners over UD Almeria away on March 4 and they are undefeated in their last two matches in the league.
Villarreal defeated Getafe CF in their last game at home and the win ended their two-match winless run at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
On the other hand, Betis drew 0-0 with Real Madrid at home on March 5 to extend their unbeaten run to four matches in La Liga.
The Green and Whites are also enjoying a three-match unbeaten run on the road having registered three successive victories as the visitors.
What Is At Stake
Villarreal are in the race to finish in the top four and they are currently placed sixth on the league standings - four points behind fifth-placed Betis.
A victory over Betis would see Villarreal boost their top four hopes, but Green and Whites are also dreaming of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Betis are three points behind fourth-placed Real Sociedad in the league standings and they will be eyeing nothing but a win over Villarreal.
Team News
Nicolas Jackson is the only Villarreal player who is out injured and the team has no suspension concerns coming into this game.
While Nabil Fekir will not feature again for Betis this season as the French star is out with a long-term injury and it is unclear when his teammate Paul Akouokou will make his return from his injury.
Key Players
Gerard Moreno remains the Yellow Submarine's star player having scored the most goals (six) for the team in the league this season and he has also provided two assists.
On the other hand, Borja Iglesias Quintas is Betis' dangerman having hit the back of the net 10 times in the league this term and he will be eager to add to his tally when he faces Villarreal.

Quotes
“The whole team gave their all. Except for the first few minutes, when we were imprecise and the accumulated tension showed," Villarreal manager Quique Setién said after their clash with Almeria.
"We overcame that phase and completely controlled the game and played a great match. We were patient and waited until we found space. The goal came when it had to come.
"I’m very happy because we did things very well.”

Betis edged out Villarreal 1-0 in their last meeting in La Liga and the game was played at the Estadio Benito Villamarín on 11 September 2022.
