Barcelona are enjoying an 11-match unbeaten run at home having won nine matches and drawn just two at the Spotify Camp Nou.
On the other hand, Valencia claimed a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad at home on February 25 as they ended their eight-match winless run in La Liga.
The Bats are winless in their last seven matches on the road having recorded two successive draws and five consecutive defeats as the visitors.
What Is At Stake
The defeat to Almeria dented Barcelona's ambitions of winning the La Liga title and they are now seven points clear at the top of the league standings.
Barca are now under pressure to return to winning ways when they square off with a rejuvenated Valencia side.
Valencia are currently placed 18th on the league standings and they will climb out of the relegation zone if they defeat Barcelona and the other results go their way.
Team News
Ousmane Dembele and Pedri have been joined by Ansu Fati in Barcelona's injury-list and the trio is expected to miss the game against Valencia.
Meanwhile, Valencia will be without several players who are injured namely, Jose Gaya, Edinson Cavani, Nico Gonzalez and Marcos Andre.
Key Players
Robert Lewandowski was frustrated by the Almeria defence and the Barcelona marksman will be determined to find the back of the net when he faces Valencia.
With Cavani out injured, Valencia will look to Samu Castillejo who has hit the back of the net three times in the league this season.

Quotes
"The win changes the dynamic and means even more coming against a magnificent team that is in the Champions League. We did it at home after some complicated situations," Valencia manager Ruben Baraja said after their win over Sociedad.
"The team knows the situation we are in and how we have to compete -and that is the attitude they showed. We tried to give them a clear and concise message of what we want and need to improve. They have been very willing and had a good attitude to apply the things that we want to be competitive.
"We need to repeat what we experienced today many more times. That will make us perform at our best. When you change the dynamic, the players loosen up, they feel better and they will grow."
Head-to-Head
Barcelona claimed a 1-0 win over Valencia in their last meeting in La Liga and the game was played at the Estadio de Mestalla on 29 October 2022.
