Valencia will lock horns with Atalanta in the
UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg clash at the Estadio de Mestalla on March 10.
The Spanish side is wounded after succumbing to a 4-1 defeat in the first-leg encounter which took place in Italy last month.
However, they are undefeated in their last two home matches in the tournament having registered one draw and one win.
Valencia have finished as runners-up in the Champions League twice and they are looking to finally clinch the trophy this season.
Albert Celades, the Valencia manager, is confident that they can overturn the deficit and reach the quarter-finals.
“Of course, we made mistakes. When you play at this level against a side like Atalanta, you cannot allow them all that space. We did create our opportunities, though, and that is important for the second leg," Celades said.

“I think we’ve got a chance of turning it around. The result is pretty clear tonight, but we’ll see what happens at the Mestalla. We play well in our own stadium. We concede too many, especially away from home, there’s no denying that.
“It won’t be easy to overturn this situation, but we will try.”
Meanwhile, Atalanta are looking to complete a double over Valencia and secure their place in the last eight.
The Italian side returned to winning ways on the road in this season's competition when they defeated Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk in their last away game.
Atalanta are making their debut appearance in the Champions League and they are hoping to go all the way and clinch their first trophy this season.
Valencia will be hosting Atalanta for the first time in a competitive match.
