Manchester City will take on Real Madrid in the 2017 International Champions Cup match at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in U.S.A on Thursday.
The English Premier League (EPL) side lost 2-1 to their city rivals Manchester United in their previous ICC match which was played in U.S.A last week. The defeat ended City's four-match winning streak and they were also unbeaten in six matches. City's last victory was against Watford FC last May. City emerged 5-0 winners in an EPL match.
Meanwhile, Real were narrowly defeated 2-1 on penalties by English giants United following a 1-1 draw in their previous ICC match which was played in U.S.A on Sunday. The defeat ended the reigning Spanish La Liga champions' four-match winning streak in all competitions. The last time Real tasted a victory was against Italian giants Juventus last May. Real secured a 4-1 win in the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League final.
City and Real have met five times in all competitions since 2012. The latter have dominated winning three games.
