Tony Finau will be eager to make history by becoming the first golfer to win back-to-back
Rocket Mortgage Classic trophies.
What to know about Finau
The American star has won seven professional tournaments and he also secured a top-five finish in all four golf major championships.
Finau finished third at the 2019 Open Championship, fifth at the 2018 US Open, fourth at the 2020 PGA Championship and fifth at the 2019 Masters Tournament.

Nicknamed Big Tone, Finau finished 45th at the recent 2023 Travellers Championship which was the most recent event on the 2022/23 PGA Tour calendar.
Big Tone is currently placed 14th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best OWGR is ninth.
Why Finau is among the favourites
Finau won the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic, shooting a tournament-record 26-under 262, capped with a 5-under 67 on Sunday.
The 33-year-old, who won this season's Cadence Bank Houston Open and Mexico Open, will be looking to replicate the form he displayed at the Detroit Golf Club last year.

"My game has evolved dramatically from the start of my career until now. This was a golf course that didn't look very good to me the first time I played it, which is in 2020," Finau said after winning the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic.
"Now, a couple years later, and that's the beauty about playing on the PGA Tour -- you play a lot of the same courses every year, and you get to match up and see where you are as a person and where you game is compared to where it was last year.
"The golf course looked pretty good to me this year, and so to me, that just told me I'm a lot better than I was just a couple years ago. But, that's what it is. I think we evolve as players and as people, and proud that my game has evolved the way it has," he added.
"It's pretty cool to know that you put your best foot forward and play some good golf. You can put yourself in a position to win a golf tournament, and to do that two weeks in a row is really nice."
