Robert MacIntyre will be hoping to redeem himself by winning the
Genesis Scottish Open having finished second in the 2023 event.
What to know about MacIntyre
The Scotsman had a successful amateur career - winning both the Scottish Youths Championship and the Scottish Boys Open Stroke-Play Championship
MacIntyre turned professional in 2017 and he has since won four professional tournaments including one PGA Tour event, and two European Tour wins.

The 27-year-old took a break from professional golf after competing in the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic where he missed the cut.
MacIntyre is currently placed 44th in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is 39th.
Why MacIntyre is among the favourites
The Oban-born golfer shot a 64, including a birdie on the final hole, in the final round of the 2023 Scottish Open and he was eventually beaten by Rory McIlroy by one shot.
MacIntyre won the 2024 RBC Canadian Open last month and he will be looking to secure his second PGA Tour win at this weekend's Scottish Open.
