Sergio Perez will be hoping to close the gap at the top of the Drivers' Championship standings by winning the
2022 Austrian Grand Prix.
The Red Bull-Racing RBPT driver finished eighth in last year's Austrian Grand Prix having started third on the grid and he collected eight points from the race.
Perez came close to securing his second win of the 2022 season when he finished second at the recent British Grand Prix on July 3.

The Mexican star was engaged in a captivating duel with Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc – Perez finished second to maiden winner Carlos Sainz Jr of Ferrari.
Hamilton finished third as the seven-time Formula One world champion failed to win the British Grand Prix for the first time since 2018.
However, Red Bull-Racing driver Max Verstappen remains at the top of the 2022 Drivers' Championship standings with Perez placed second on the table.
The former Sauber driver will move closer to Verstappen in the standings if he finishes ahead of his teammate at the Austrian Grand Prix.

“It was getting difficult towards the end of the stint, keeping that pace," Perez said after the British Grand Prix.
"Trying to open a bit of a window to... Fernando [Alonso] and Lando [Norris], trying to get the window on them and then when the Safety Car came out,
"It meant we were in P4 so it was a good chance. Then it was an epic final laps. Those laps really reminded me of the junior series, where we're all racing and having a lot of fun," he continued.
“Those final laps were a great fight with Lewis – it has been so long since we had a good fight so it was great to have him back and also with Charles, he was very aggressive but fair and I'm sure the fans enjoyed it.”
Red Bull Racing-RBPT are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Ferrari and Mercedes respectively.
