What to know about Kim
The South Korean star finished tied for 20th at the 2012 PGA Tour Qualifying School and he was only 17 years, 5 months, 6 days old at the time, the youngest player to graduate from the PGA Tour's qualifying school.
Now aged 29, Kim has won five professional tournaments including four PGA Tour events and one Web.com Tour event, while also securing a top 15 finish in all four golf major championships.
News
The Seoul-born golfer was in action at the recent PGA Tour event which was the Sony Open in Hawaii where he missed the cut.
Kim is currently placed 69th on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and his best OWGR rank is 28th.

The former Yonsei University student will be returning to La Quinta, California where he was crowned champion of The American Express in 2021.
Kim shot a final round 8-under 64 to win by one stroke over Patrick Cantlay and claim his third PGA Tour title.
