AS Roma will go head to head with Cagliari in an Italian
Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico on January 16.
The Yellow and Reds suffered a 4-3 defeat to Juventus FC at home in their previous league match which was played on January 9.
Roma are now winless in their last three matches in this competition having recorded two successive defeats and one draw.

“It is the scoreline at the end of 90 minutes that is the one that ultimately counts. And we've come away from the game with nothing to show for it," Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini said after the defeat to Juventus.
"We found ourselves here trying to explain things that can't really be explained. Conceding three goals like that, after dominating Juventus for 70 minutes. Conceding three goals like that can't happen and we will need to watch it all back."

Meanwhile, Cagliari secured a narrow 2-1 win over Sampdoria away in their previous league match which was played on January 6.
The Islanders, who will host Bologna on Tuesday, ended their 11-match winless run in this competition when they defeated Sampdoria.
The win over Sampdoria also ended Cagliari's 10-match winless run on the road in Serie A having recorded three draws and seven defeats.
The last meeting between Roma and Cagliari in a league game was on 27 October 2021.
Roma were made to sweat for a 2-1 win over Cagliari in a match that was played at Unipol Domus which is previously known as Sardegna Arena.
